John Tierney, Wealth Advisor
“Like a tailor, I hand-build each client’s portfolio meticulously, with an eye not only on where he or she wants to be today, but also in keeping with their wishes for the generations that follow.”
A finance and entrepreneurial wunderkind, John Tierney’s path as an investor, founder, and even as an athlete have been paved with recognition. Still, he considers his biggest successes the ones he’s helped his clients achieve, bringing energy and savvy as he helps his high net worth clients solve their most pressing wealth management challenges.
John got his start learning alongside some of the industry’s foremost experts—including Doug Cliggott, U.S. equity strategy at Credit Suisse. Since beginning his career, he’s become known as an “investment tailor,” meticulously crafting and managing custom portfolios for his clients. As he builds each one, he has in mind not only the client today, but of his or her heirs three or four generations from now.
As John ascends in his career, he remains loyal to his roots. His philanthropic giving includes UMass Amherst lacrosse and Wilbraham and Monson Academy, both instrumental to his early years.
